Commercial Diving Magazine – CDiving.com is currently rated by Alexa (click to see report) in the top 850,000 of ALL websites on the Internet for traffic ranking. (848,196 at the time of writing). The current rating for UK and GB is 22,883.
Tha above quotation from only a few weeks ago is now well outdated and as promised we have continued to surge upwards in the online rankings. Here’s our latest statistics from Alexa (Jan 2011):
Cdiving.com has a three-month global Alexa traffic rank of 534,690, and visitors to the site spend approximately 61 seconds on each pageview and a total of 28 minutes on the site during each visit. Approximately 29% of visits to the site consist of only one pageview (i.e., are bounces). Cdiving.com’s visitors view 24.0 unique pages each day on average. The site has attained a traffic rank of 24,393 among users in the UK, where about 59% of its audience is located.
In case you didn’t know, these statistics are pretty fantastic and shows the dedication of our diving audience. Notice the part about 28 minutes spent on site and 24 page views?
Compare this with other popular Commercial Diving and Scuba Diving websites:
cDiver.net – currently ranked 1,842,800. Almost One Million behind us.
UK Diving.net – currently ranked 759,939 with dramatically higher advertising costs.
We use effective Search Engine Optimisation techniques and are constantly performing both on and off site search engine optimisation campaigns which target multiple, diving related, popular search engine terms. We expect traffic trends to improve drastically over the coming months.
Edit – 29/12/10 – As expected in just over a week CDiving.com is now ranked 770,019. More improvements expected.
CDiving.com receives regular, worldwide visitors however the majority of our audience (59%) are based in the UK, the remaining majority are from North America. As an advertiser in the diving industry you can be sure you are receiving highly targeted, niche advertising.
Up until now CDiving.com has not been accepting advertisers and has instead focused on increasing user base by delivering high quality, regular, on-topic content updates.

Dedicated Sidebar Advertising Slot – All pages and posts
An ad in our sidebar will appear on all articles and pages throughout the site other than those that use the full page width template. At the time of writing that is only this page and the news archive page. The sidebar will always be featured on posts and the homepage and your ad will be not be rotated so will always display in your slot.
